September 13, 2024We have a problem within our complex on how the trustees are planning to bill our units. Each unit has its own meter for water and electricity which we measure every month and get billed for.
The common property electricity and water is in the budget and covered by the levy. It has been this way for decades.
Now the trustees want to put an extra line item to charge each unit a portion of the common property water and electricity. Yet it is still in the budget and covered by the levy. In my view we are then paying for the same item twice.
Is there any legislation I can refer to.
